Caleb Franklin

Coach Caleb began his athletic career as a wrestler. He wrestled throughout high school and went on to wrestle at Midland University before realizing his talent for running. What started as a whim became a passion as his talents developed. Caleb is still competing in track meets around the country trying to improve and meeting new personal goals.

Caleb graduated from Midland University with a degree in Fitness and Sports Management. And although running is his main thing, he is still active in the wrestling community. He helps young wrestlers hone their wrestling moves in Arnold, NE and is currently the Strength, Conditioning and Nutrition Director for Nebraska USA Wrestling (NEUSAW).

An expert in the 100-400m races, Caleb also specializes in speed, agility, explosiveness and biomechanics which will help athletes in any and every sport.

tim o'neill

 

Tim O’Neill is in his 10th year as head cross-country coach at North Platte St. Patrick High School. He is a lifetime health and fitness advocate and has been a runner, cyclist and triathlete since high school. He is a level 1 & 2 certified coach with USA Track & Field (distance), Level 1 & 2 certified coach with USA Track & Field (cross country), Level 1 certified with USA Track & Field for sprints, hurdles, and field events and  Level 1 & 2 certified with USA Triathlon. Tim also completed Level 1 & 2 certification in RPR (reflexive performance reset) in 2019.

Tim’s initial coaching education and philosophical background was formed by a 5-year stint at USA Triathlon working with elite athletes and Olympic coaches. Coach O’Neill keeps current with new research specific to developmental athletic training by attending workshops, clinics, reading books, listening to podcasts, and consulting with D1, D2 and Olympic coach friends.

O’Neill was the USTFCCCA Nebraska coach of the year for cross country in 2023. He attended Regis University and Chadron State College and holds degrees in Business, Accounting, Education and a Master’s degree in Art History with Azusa Pacific University.
